The other Side of the Truth
On March 17th, the Gulf Cooperation Council announced its desire to hold a comprehensive political conference in Riyadh for Yemen’s warring parties. At a news conference, the Council’s Secretary-General, Nayef Al-Hajraf said this: “The meeting will be conducted between March 29th and April 7th to combine ranks.”
The most important thing, as it seems, is that the Arab peoples and Arab advocates of democracy and human rights must prepare for a more difficult coming period, in which tyranny will increase internally and regionally, in conjunction with a further decline in international support for democracy and human rights.
